My father was an architect and my mother a painter, sculptor, potter, and lover of literature. Both were exceptional craftspeople. There was no television in our house so my sisters and friends and I were our own entertainment. My childhood included building structures out of anything available and designing and performing theatrical events.
I believe we are all storytelling creatures, that story is the underlying structure of all our expressions. I believe in the power of the individual voice in the chorus of humanity and our creative works are windows to the soul.
